Winterthur

Winterthur est un splendide domain, niché au coeur d'une vallée plantée de vignes, non loin de la ville de Delaware, à mi-chemin entre New York City et Washington, D.C. Le domaine abrite entre autre, un musée, un parc pour les enfants sur le thème du merveilleux, de superbes jardins , etc... J'aime beaucoup leur sapin de Noël, assez unique en son genre puisqu'entièrement décoré de fleurs séchées.
Winterthur, an American country estate, is the former home of Henry Francis du Pont (1880-1969), an avid antiques collector and horticulturist. In the early 20th century, H. F. du Pont and his father, Henry Algernon du Pont, designed Winterthur in the spirit of 18th- and19th-century European country houses.
