Ora garden of well-being

"The remarkable '100% Pure New Zealand Ora - Garden of Wellbeing' has been recreated as a permanent and a living exhibit at the Taupo museum (Waikato, New Zealand).100% Pure New Zealand Ora is the stunning New Zealand garden that won gold and the hearts of visitors at the 2004 Chelsea Flower Show (London). Ora - the Garden of Wellbeing, explores the relationship between nature and Maori and has that X factor - a spiritual dimension. Living tree fern sculptures, hewn and carved by artist Lyonel Grant, are part of the Ora magic. So too, is the superbly crafted Moko Waiwera (hot water lizard) sculpture (created by Lyonel with the assistance of Lord of the Rings greensman Brian Massey) which forms a striking centrepiece to the garden. Ora's remarkable replica silica terraces, created in the Weta Workshop in Wellington, were inspired by the Orakei Korako geothermal area nestled in a hidden valley north of Taupo." Les fougères arborescentes taillées et sculptées par l'artiste Lyonel Grant, font partie de la magie Ora. De même, le Waiwera Moko (petit aqueduc d'eau thermal en forme de lézard) créé par Lyonel avec l'aide du Seigneur des Anneaux Brian Massey) constitue une pièce maîtresse du jardin. La remarquable réplique des terrasses de silice, créé à l'atelier de Weta à Wellington, ont été inspirées par le Orakei Korako, phénomène géothermique, niché dans une zone cachée de la vallée au nord de Taupo.
