Le jardin japonais du Centre hospitalier du Vexin, Aincourt
In Aincourt (Vexin, 40 km from Paris) once stood a huge sanatorium for treating many cases of tuberculosis. Today, only one building is still in use. It is now an hospital that receives patients in rehabilitation, often after an accident. My brother spent there 4 years after a terrible motorcycle accident. At the foot of the pavilion, there is a beautiful japanese garden. It has been created for the well-being of patients, by the Dr. Hamon then director of the Medical Bucaille Center in 1970.
